IEX Group Appoints Ledford as Chief People Officer, Gunning as Chief Marketing Officer

IEX Group, Inc. (IEX), which operates the Investors Exchange, today announced that it has hired Andrea Ledford as Chief People Officer (CPO) and Kate Gunning as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), effective immediately. Ms. Ledford joins IEX following 12 years at NCR, most recently as Executive Vice President, Chief People Officer, and was named “Chief Human Resources Officer of the Year” by HRO Today. Ms. Gunning joins IEX following six years at J.P. Morgan, most recently as Executive Director, Global Head of Brand for J.P. Morgan Asset Management, and was named one of Brand Innovators’ “40 Under 40 Brand Marketers.”
As CPO, Ms. Ledford will shape and lead IEX’s strategy to develop, retain, and attract top talent. She will also design and implement learning and development, manager training and coaching, and employee engagement programs.

As CMO, Ms. Gunning will lead brand strategy, marketing, and communications for both IEX and the Investors Exchange. She will be responsible for broadening and amplifying the IEX brand, as well as for expanding awareness of the high quality of trading and liquidity offered on the Investors Exchange and groundbreaking innovations such as IEX Cloud. Ms. Gunning will also partner with Bill Guinan, IEX’s Head of Business Development, to more closely integrate the sales and marketing functions.

Ms. Ledford will report to Mr. Katsuyama. Ms. Gunning will report to Sara Furber, IEX Chief Financial Officer.
