BTIG Adds Joe Passaro as Head of Capital Markets

BTIG announced today that it has hired Joe Passaro as a Managing Director and Head of Capital Markets. Mr. Passaro will bring over a decade of key experience to BTIG’s growing capital markets businesses. He will be based out of the firm’s New York office and report into Matt Clark, who leads BTIG Investment Banking.

With ten-plus years of transactional and trading experience, Mr. Passaro will work to provide differentiated advice on equity, equity-linked and equity derived products. He will be instrumental in originating transactions, structuring offerings, and improving valuations for corporations while growing BTIG’s coverage of financial sponsor, private equity and venture capital clients. Prior to BTIG, Mr. Passaro spent twelve years at Deutsche Bank Securities in a variety of senior roles across the Equity Capital Markets and Global Equity Trading units, serving most recently as Co-Head of Equity Capital Markets Syndicate, Americas.
