On The Move: Deutsche Bank Appoints Boillat CIO, Hammonds to COO

The German bank has named Pascal Boillat to the newly-created role of Chief Information Officer (CIO) and Head of Operations, Corporate & Investment Banking.

Deutsche Bank has a new head of investment banking technology. The German bank has named Pascal Boillat to the newly-created role of Chief Information Officer (CIO) and Head of Operations, Corporate & Investment Banking.

Boillet will join the bank on the first of February 2016 and will report to Kim Hammonds, who will become Chief Operating Officer and CIO starting January 1. Boillet will be based in New York until the end of 2016 and will then move to London.

Boillat is currently Head of Operations and Technology for the US secondary mortgage market company Fannie Mae, which is based in Washington DC. He previously served at Citigroup, where he was responsible for managing and delivering technology solutions for institutional, retail and prime brokerage operations. Prior to this he worked for the consultancies Bearing Point and Capco. Boillat has a degree in electronic engineering from the Berufsschule in Zurich.

Pascals technical expertise and experience of implementing change across large teams will further strengthen our technology and operations leadership, said Hammonds.
