J.P. Morgan Asset Management has hired Arezu Moghadam as Managing Director and Global Head of Data Science. Moghadam joins J.P. Morgan from Point 72, where she was Head of Quantitative Analytics for its Market Intelligence unit. In addition, Carissa Biggie has joined the firm as Managing Director and Global Head of Broker Relationship Management. Biggie joins J.P. Morgan from Prudential Financial, where she covered top global financial institutions for the Enterprise Strategic Relationship Management team. Both Moghadam and Biggie will be based in New York and report to Kristian West, Head of the firm’s Investment Platform team.
LPA, the capital markets technology and advisory firm, has announced ambitious international expansion plans into the United States supported by a key executive hire. Serge Malka has joined LPA US as Managing Director, responsible for the acceleration of LPA’s American software and consulting operation with the opening of a new office in New York. Malka has over 25 years of international experience in the capital markets industry both at major firms and start-up companies across the US and Europe. He joins LPA from Cognizant Consulting, where he was the Capital Markets and Risk Practice Leader.

Chopra comes with over 30 years of experience leading sales organisations globally for large market intelligence firms in capital markets and ESG data sets along with high growth firms in enterprise software from time spent at S&P and Adenza (formerly AxiomSL). Becker, an experienced operational technology leader, has spent over 20 years scaling high-growth technology firms including Skype and Symphony. Prior to joining Suade, Becker held various positions with leading FinTech companies across North America and Europe.
The Securities and Exchange Commission has announced that Investor Advocate Rick A. Fleming will depart the agency after more than eight years of service. Fleming was appointed in February 2014 to be the first director of the Office of the Investor Advocate at the Commission.
Xceptor, a no-code software platform for data automation, has appointed Josh Monroe as Chief Revenue Officer and Ludovic Blanquet as Chief Strategy and Transformation Officer. Reporting into Xceptor CEO Andrew Kouloumbrides, Blanquet will be based in Xceptor’s London headquarters and Monroe in the New York office. Monroe joins Xceptor with extensive experience in the financial sector, most recently leading the Americas and global sales of the network, trade matching and data analytics business at Itiviti.
