CME Group has appointed Tim McCourt to serve in an expanded role as Senior Managing Director, Global Head of Financial & OTC Products, following the retirement of Sean Tully, Senior Managing Director, Interest Rates and OTC Products, on June 2, 2023. Prior to the new role, McCourt served as Global Head of Equity & FX Products since February 2022, when he was promoted to the Management Team. Going forward, he will oversee the company’s interest rates, equity index, foreign exchange and cryptocurrency futures and options markets, as well as the company’s BrokerTec cash treasuries platform and EBS spot FX platform. McCourt joined CME Group in 2013 as Executive Director, Equity Index Products.
GTN has appointed Eric Krueger as CEO of GTN Americas. With over 25 years of cross-asset trading experience for both institutional and retail clients, Krueger brings a wealth of industry expertise to the role. Krueger, an industry veteran, joins GTN from Saxo Bank, where he served as Global Head of Digital Engagement and Client Services.
Lindsay Hans and Eric Schimpf have been appointed presidents and co-heads of Merrill Wealth Management, reporting to Bank of America Chair and Chief Executive Officer Brian Moynihan. Hans, who most recently served as head of Merrill’s Private Wealth Management, International and Institutional business, joined the company in 2014. Schimpf began his career as a Merrill financial advisor in 1994 and has held several leadership positions within the business. He has served for six years as division executive, first for the Southeast and most recently for the Pacific Coast.
Susan Cosgrove, who has served as DTCC’s Chief Financial Officer since 2013, has been named President, Clearing & Securities Services. Timothy Keady has been appointed Chief Client Officer. Renee LaRoche-Morris joins DTCC as Chief Financial Officer. All appointments become effective on April 10, 2023.
