Peel Hunt, a UK investment bank, has appointed Piya Khanna as its Chief Technology Officer (CTO). Khanna brings over 20 years of experience in delivering business efficiencies and transformation via technology, product development, technology infrastructure, and client solutions. She was most recently at Credit Agricole CIB (Corporate & Investment Bank), where she was Managing Director and Head of the Technology and Process Group, Global Markets Division. Khanna will replace current CTO, Aaqib Mirza, who will remain in the business during a transitional period before moving to RetailBook as CEO once the platform is established as an independent company.
SymphonyAI, a provider of predictive and generative AI enterprise SaaS, has appointed Blythe Masters as an independent member of the SymphonyAI board. A financial services and financial technology visionary with more than 35 years of professional experience, Masters is a founding partner at Motive Partners, a private equity firm that specializes in financial technology. She was also a senior executive at J.P. Morgan for 27 years, where she built the structured credit and physical commodities businesses.
Cboe Global Markets has appointed Catherine Clay to Global Head of Derivatives, a new role for the organization, and has promoted Adam Inzirillo to Global Head of Data and Access Solutions. Clay joined Cboe in 2015. In her most recent role as Executive Vice President, Global Digital and Data Solutions, she led the company’s efforts to align Cboe’s digital assets, data and analytics product suite and market data services with strategic objectives. Inzirillo joined Cboe in 2019 as Senior Vice President and Head of U.S. Equities. His most recent role was Head of North American Equities. Oliver Sung, previously Head of North America Execution Consulting for Cboe, will replace Inzirillo as interim Head of North American Equities.
Bhavika Shah has started a new position as Senior Associate – Fund Services at Goldman Sachs. She joined from JPMorgan Chase, where she served as Senior Associate – Client relationship manager / Asset management.
