Webull has hired Arianne Adams as the company’s Chief Strategy Officer and Head of Derivatives. Adams most recently served as Senior Vice President, Head of Derivatives and Global Client Services at Cboe Global Markets, where she was responsible for day-to-day operations of the options and futures business. She also led initiatives to identify and educate new investors and expand the use of Cboe’s proprietary products globally. Adams has also held senior positions at Goldman Sachs, Capstone Investment Advisors and Merrill Lynch.
AllianceBernstein’s Head of Equities Chris Hogbin will assume a newly created role of Global Head of Investments, effective January 1, 2024. In his new role, he will be responsible for AB’s public-market businesses—Equity, Fixed Income, Multi Asset and Hedge Fund Solutions, Investment Solutions and Sciences, along with the firm’s Responsibility team. By the end of 2024, he will expand his mandate to include AB’s Private Alternatives business. Nelson Yu, a 26-year AB veteran with nearly 30 years of global equity markets investment experience, will succeed Mr. Hogbin as Head of Equities.
Trading Technologies International has launched two new lines of business, TT Compliance and TT Quantitative Trading Solutions (QTS). The TT Compliance business line will be run by Ted Morgan, who has served as Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Abel Noser and will assume the role of EVP Compliance on January 1. The newly branded TT QTS led by Joe Signorelli – who has been serving as Managing Director – RCM-X and prior to the acquisition as CEO of RCM-X – will encompass a broader multi-asset algorithmic trading offering. With the restructuring of TT’s offerings into these new lines of business, Nick Garrow, who currently serves as EVP Multi-Asset & Buy-Side, will assume the role of Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) on January 1.
DTCC has appointed Gloria Lio as Managing Director, Head of Enterprise Services. Lio, who joined the company on December 11, 2023, will also serve as a member of the DTCC Management Committee. Lio has over 25 years of experience in financial services, most recently at BNY Mellon where she served as Global Head of Custody and Middle Office Operations. Prior to that, she spent 20 years at Goldman Sachs, where she held a number of global and regional operational-related leadership roles.
PIMCO has named Mohit Mittal, Managing Director and Portfolio Manager, as Chief Investment Officer – Core Strategies. Mittal is a longstanding leader on the trade floor, a member of PIMCO’s Investment Committee and has a strong track record across a broad range of portfolios. He joined the Total Return portfolio management team five years ago and has contributed to PIMCO’s multi sector portfolios including Long Duration, Dynamic Bond, Stable Value and Investment Grade Credit.
Nasdaq Private Market (NPM) has hired Marc Perkins as a Managing Director and its new Head of Data and Financial Products. Based in New York, he will report to Eric Folkemer, Co-Founder, President, and Chief Operating Officer of NPM. Prior to NPM, Perkins was the Vice President of Commercial Products at Caplight. Previously, he was a Founder at Sesame Analytics.
