Program is open to deserving Chicagoland college students and high school seniors as they seek to advance their careers in the financial services industry
CHICAGO, IL April 2, 2024 – The Security Traders Association of Chicago, a membership organization for individual professionals in the securities industry in Chicago and an affiliate of The Security Traders Association (STA), is now accepting applications for its STAC Fund Scholarship program for the 2024 – 2025 academic year.
The program is open to all Chicago area students regardless of any STAC affiliation. STAC members, their spouses and/or their dependent children are also eligible, but relationship to a STAC member is not required to apply. Completed applications and all supporting documents must be submitted online through the STAC website. The digital application and full eligibility requirements are available here, and applications will be accepted through April 17, 2024.
“The STAC Fund was created as a means to support the academic careers of deserving Chicagoland students and help instill a sense of financial awareness and literacy,” said Ginny Kowalczyk, STAC Vice President. “Thanks to the generosity of our STAC members, we were able to distribute over $54,000 in scholarship money to 18 amazing local students for the 2023 – 2024 academic year. We’re thrilled to continue this great tradition and encourage all local high school seniors and college students to apply for the opportunity to join an amazing group of Chicago youth who have benefited with support from the STAC Fund Scholarship program.”
A 501c3 organization founded by STAC in 1991 to provide college scholarships to deserving students and make grants to charitable and educational institutions, the STAC Fund is focused on giving back to deserving individuals and organizations in the Chicagoland community while encouraging financial awareness.
