FactSet (NYSE, NASDAQ: FDS) has hired Bill Goldsmith as Senior Vice President to lead the company’s global market data efforts. Bill will be responsible for growing and maintaining various industry-leading content sets, including real-time pricing, research, filings, events, transcripts, and StreetAccount, FactSet’s market intelligence news service. His work will focus on content used by clients industry-wide, including in asset management, banking, trading, and FactSet’s growing wealth business.
Goldsmith joins FactSet from Refinitiv, where he worked for nearly 25 years in market data and product management. During his time there, he built and managed large-scale web, desktop, and data feed platforms that encompassed the delivery of streaming market data, news, and referential data. He most recently led the product management team for Refinitiv’s global desktop offerings to wealth advisors in addition to his role as Head of the Thomson ONE Platform and Thomson Data Feed.
