Seasoned executive Robert Meier has joined privately owned investment bank Dahlman Rose & Co. as head of equity sales and trading. He reports to Kim Fennebresque, chairman and chief executive of the firm.
A 15-year industry veteran, Meier most recently spent three years at Gleacher & Co. where he was head of equities. Prior to that, he was co-head of equities and head of sales for Cowen & Co. He started his career as an attorney providing legal advice on corporate transactions.
We are pleased to have a professional of Bobs stature join our management team, Fennebresque said in a statement. Bobs vast relationships with leading institutional investors will boost our presence in the marketplace.
Meier said he was excited to be joining a firm focused on industries that are deeply relevant to the global economy.
Founded in 2004, Dahlman Rose concentrates on energy, transportation, infrastructure and other industries that compose the global supply chain. The firms co-founders, Ernest Dahlman and Simon Rose, both officially retired earlier this year.
