Triad Securities Corp. announced thatMichael Birdhas joined the firm as Senior Managing Director. His mission is to oversee the prime brokerages finance, operations and sales departments.
Prior to this announcement, Bird was president of Vandham Securities. Previously he was a managing director with Merrill Lynch and Bank of America Merrill Lynch for nearly 13 years. Before that, he served as managing director of capital markets for RJ Steichen & Co. from 1998 to 2000, according to his profile on LinkedIn. Before that, he served as managing director of equity trading for Dain Bosworth.
He has degrees from Drake University and Purdie University, according to Linked-In.
Michael’s knowledge, experience and familiarity with trading and clearing will be an asset to Triad and an immediate benefit to clients, reads a press statement from Triad Securities.
