REDI, set, go.
REDI Technologies, the independent market technology firm and developer of the REDIPlus execution management system, is growing its business and opening a new office in Plano, Texas. The new location, 10,000 square feet in size, is said to a primary operations center for REDI globally, and a regional sales center for the Southern U.S.
According to a spokesman, the office was opened with the intention of doubling the firm’s headcount. While no specific headcount target for the location was mentioned, Traders learned that as REDI’s business grows so will staffing levels in the region.
The new office is led by REDI’s Global Head of Professional Services, Clayton Meadows and replaced the firm’s existing Frisco location, which the firm acquired in 2013 as part of Bank of America Merrill Lynch’s equity infusion into the firm. The office was previously used by BoA’s InstaQuote business. REDI completed the integration of the InstaQuote business earlier this year, fully migrating its technology, clients and employees to REDI.
“As many of these firms are geographically located throughout the mid-west, we’re happy to be able to enhance the level of local service we can provide to them as we progress with our growth strategy,” Meadows said.
In addition to providing REDI with a state-of-the-art base from which to service its local clients from a sales, support and development perspective, the new Plano office serves as a full disaster recovery site, enabling REDI to run its entire global business from the location if necessary and providing an added layer of resiliency for the more than 800 firms who rely on REDIPlus as their trading platform.
“Texas offers an abundant base of high-quality development talent, an excellent quality of life for our employees and a very favorable overall business environment in which to operate,” said Sean Sullivan, global head of sales and marketing at REDI. “We’re extremely pleased to reaffirm our longstanding commitment to the area as we work to continue the expansion of our business here.”
