Earlier this week, global brokerage firm BTIG raised more than $5 million to charities for itsCommissions from Charity Day 2015. Traders is proud to present a gallery of images from the star-studded sellside charity event.
This was a record-breaking year for BTIG in terms of total dollars donated, said one of the heads of the brokerage.
“BTIG Charity Day is an event that everyone at BTIG looks forward to each year. Yesterday was our most successful Charity Day since the event’s inception in 2003. We are honored by the support we receive from our clients, celebrity guests and industry partners. And, we are proud of the effort put forth by our employees,” said Steven Starker, co-founder of BTIG.

This year more than 200 charities worldwide will be the beneficiaries of BTIG Charity Day.
More than 50 celebrities acted as ambassadors for charities on Tuesday’s event. The gust list included Allan Houston, Alex Rodriguez, Beth Ostrosky Stern, Bobby Valentine, Bode Miller, Brooke Shields, CC Sabathia, Charles Oakley, Chris Mullin, Damaris Lewis, Doug Ellin, Eduardo Garcia, Eli Manning, Eric LeGrand, Geoffrey Zakarian, Hannah Davis, Hannah Storm, Jeremy Roenick, Joe Girardi, Joe Namath, John Starks, John Sterling, Josh Capon, K.
