Agency-only broker Bloomberg Tradebook raised more than $1 million in gross trading commissions during its recent second annual Charity Day.
The broker said in blog posting that net proceeds from this year’s fundraising event, “Trade It Forward,” are now being calculated for each donation.
A variety of athletes, artists and actors, including Jeremy Irons and Sol Campbell in London and Mark Messier and Mariska Hargitay in New York, worked with Bloomberg’s traders on October 17 to raise money for nine important charities.
