BTIG announced today that it has hired Joe Passaro as a Managing Director and Head of Capital Markets. Mr. Passaro will bring over a decade of key experience to BTIGs growing capital markets businesses. He will be based out of the firms New York office and report into Matt Clark, who leads BTIG Investment Banking.

His extensive knowledge of the financial sponsor universe, deep relationships with institutional investors and ability to assist clients executing complex trades and transactions will be extremely valuable as we continue to expand our capital markets capabilities.
With ten-plus years of transactional and trading experience, Mr. Passaro will work to provide differentiated advice on equity, equity-linked and equity derived products. He will be instrumental in originating transactions, structuring offerings, and improving valuations for corporations while growing BTIGs coverage of financial sponsor, private equity and venture capital clients. Prior to BTIG, Mr. Passaro spent twelve years at Deutsche Bank Securities in a variety of senior roles across the Equity Capital Markets and Global Equity Trading units, serving most recently as Co-Head of Equity Capital Markets Syndicate, Americas.
Joe is a strong addition to our Investment Banking and Capital Markets unit, notedSteven Starker, Co-Founder of BTIG. We believe that he will propel growth across this important business. As we continue to build out a market-leading platform, he will play a key role in helping to drive solid financial outcomes for clients.
