Southern traders recently had a chance to get together and discuss the state of the equities industry at the year’s half-way point.
Institutional investors, sales traders and vendors all met up at the 37th Annual Carolina Security Traders Association’s annual meeting held May 24 – 27 at the Wild Dunes Resort in Isle of Palms, South Carolina. The event kicked off with a cocktail party and buffett dinner on Friday, May 24 and golf and tennis tournaments on Saturday, May 25.
On Sunday, May 26, conference attendees were treated to a panel on the latest industry topics featuring Joe Muglia, chairman of TD Ameritrade and David Smyth, Brooks Pierce McLendon.
Approximately 100 hundred people attended the event.
