Michael Gray joined Macquarie Securities as a managing director and head of international sales trading. Gray spent the last 27 years with Morgan Stanley. There he was a managing director responsible for international equity sales trading.
Liz Hunter also joined Macquarie Securities as a senior vice president in cash trading. Hunter was most recently a director in cash equities at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. There she focused on large cap financials and held other senior trading roles in small cap financials, technology, media and telecommunications, according to Macquarie.
Danitza Giovanna Barrera Galarza joined Merrill Lynch’s Craane Group wealth management unit as an associate. Galarza worked in broker-dealer sales at Knight Capital Group for 13 years until 2010.
Tom Fasulo joined the institutional brokerage International Correspondent Trading in Jersey City as a sales trader. Fasulo previously spent about 14 years at Knight Capital Group in Jersey City in a similar capacity.
Veteran options and futures trading executive Jay Knopf joined Maxim Group. Knopf spent about 20 years at Spear, Leeds & Kellogg and nine years at Goldman Sachs, including predecessor Hull Trading. Recently he has done stints at Cowen & Co. and Newedge.
Maricela Valdez George joined ABN AMRO Clearing in Chicago in its market access group as a project manager. She was previously a trading system control analyst at MF Global, in Chicago, working with direct market access clients. Before that she spent about three years in equities and derivatives trading at E*Trade in Chicago.
