DTCC has hired Brian Steele as Managing Director, President, Clearing & Securities Services, effective October 2, 2023. Steele will join the DTCC Management Committee, Management Risk Committee and the Investment Management Committee. Steele will also become Chair of the ITP Board of Managers. Steele has nearly 20 years of experience in a diverse range of senior-level roles at Goldman Sachs, including most recently as Managing Director – Americas Client Coverage Group and Global Head of Client & Market Solutions. Prior to that, he served as a senior leader in a number of key operations-related roles, including Global Head of Market Structure Solutions; Global Head of Equities Execution Services and Settlements; Global Head of Digital Transformation for the Operations Division; and Global Head of Market Solutions for the Operations Division.
Brian Williamson has joined the UBS’s Execution Hub Team. He will be dedicated to Outsourced Sales Solutions and focused on accelerating our distribution efforts, working internally and externally to continue to expand the Execution Hub trading solutions platform. Williamson graduated from Trinity College and has over 30 years of experience in both buy side trading and sales roles with The Boston Company, Liquidnet, and most recently Head of Sales at Luminex.
LGT Capital Partners, a global multi-alternatives platform with $95bn in assets under management, has hired Elina Ploskin as Manager Research – Systematic and Quant Strategies. Ploskin is an experienced due diligence professional with a focus on hedge funds and alternative investments. She joins from Forester Capital where she was Senior Analyst for the past two years. Prior to that she was Director at Columbia Threadneedle Investments.
Sonya Rocciolo has started a new position as Head of Sales Operations and Enablement at LSEG (London Stock Exchange Group). She has been with LSEG since 2021, first as Director of FX Trading Operations and then as Head of Markets Pricing. Prior to that she was Director of FX Trading Operations at Refinitiv.
