ON THE MOVE: Goldman Sachs Brings In Bryon Lake; Xiangrong Jin to Northern Trust AM

Bryon Lake

Bryon Lake will join the Goldman Sachs Group as Chief Transformation Officer for the Client Solutions Group within Goldman Sachs Asset Management. Lake joins as a partner based in New York. In this newly created position, and with a particular emphasis on public markets, Lake will focus on enhancing connectivity across functions and optimizing the alignment of resources to accelerate our growth initiatives. Lake joins Goldman Sachs from J.P. Morgan Asset Management where he was most recently global head of ETF Solutions. Prior to J.P. Morgan, he held key leadership positions at PowerShares and Invesco.

Xiangrong (Sharon) Jin

Xiangrong (Sharon) Jin, Ph.D has joined Northern Trust Asset Management (NTAM) as Head of Product Strategy. Jin is an accomplished investment professional with nearly 20 years of asset management experience. Most recently, Jin spent 15 years with Goldman Sachs Asset Management in senior leadership roles in portfolio strategy and client portfolio management. Earlier in her career, Jin was a portfolio manager for the Hong Kong Monetary Authority. 

Stefan Bollinger

Stefan Bollinger, currently Partner at Goldman Sachs, has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of Julius Baer, starting in early 2025. Bollinger has three decades of experience in financial markets, performing various roles across trading, structuring, sales, treasury, and wealth management. During his career, he was based in Hong Kong, London, Luxembourg, New York, and Zurich. Stefan Bollinger joined Goldman Sachs in 2004 and has been Partner for 14 years. Prior to joining Goldman Sachs, he worked at J.P. Morgan in London. He started his career at Zürcher Kantonalbank.

Isabelle Guis has joined Temenos as Chief Marketing Officer and member of the Executive Committee reporting to the CEO Jean-Pierre Brulard. In addition, Monty Bhatia has been appointed Executive Vice President (EVP) of Global Alliances and Partner Ecosystem reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, William Moroney. Guis brings over a decade of SaaS experience, spearheading go-to-market growth strategies and overseeing product marketing and management for global SaaS organizations like Salesforce. Bhatia has over 30 years of industry experience in management and commercial leadership roles in software, infrastructure and technology companies.

John Tuttle, currently Vice Chairman of the New York Stock Exchange, will join Acrisure as President, effective September 1, 2024. Tuttle will relocate to Grand Rapids and report to Acrisure Co-Founder, Chairman and CEO Greg Williams. Throughout a 17-year career at the NYSE and its parent, Intercontinental Exchange, which began after service in the U.S. government, Tuttle served in a range of leadership roles and developed broad relationships with investors and leaders across industries whose companies are listed at the NYSE.

S64 has appointed Andy Gent as Global Chief Operating Officer. With over 25 years of financial services experience, Gent spent the past 15 years at Goldman Sachs, holding COO roles across their Asset & Wealth Management and Global Banking & Markets businesses, and latterly was instrumental in the architecting of their private markets retail platform. Previously he spent nine years at American Express in roles across strategic planning, business transformation and global operations.
