Paul Bauccio has joined the Green Impact Exchange (GIX) as Chief Operating Officer. Bauccio brings more than 25 years of experience in technology, operations, and regulatory leadership within the exchange industry. Most recently, he served as Chief Risk Officer at IEX Group, where he oversaw information security, enterprise risk, and vendor management. Earlier in his career, Bauccio served as Senior Vice President of Market Operations for the New York Stock Exchange’s cash equities business.
Eric Van Nostrand has joined Lazard Asset Management (LAM) as Global Head of Markets and Chief Economist. Van Nostrand most recently served as Assistant Secretary of the Treasury for Economic Policy, serving as Chief Economist at the US Treasury Department under Secretary Janet Yellen. Prior to his government role, Van Nostrand was a portfolio manager and Managing Director at BlackRock, where he managed systematic equity funds and served as Head of Research for Multi-Asset Strategies.
Commodity Futures Trading Commission has announced Paul G. Hayeck as the Acting Director of the Division of Enforcement. Hayeck has served at the CFTC for 25 years and has been a deputy director in the Division of Enforcement since 2013. He will continue to serve as the acting chief of the Division’s Complex Fraud Task Force.
Northern Trust has announced the appointment of Katherine McCabe to lead the OCIO strategy for its Asset Servicing business unit. McCabe brings more than 30 years of industry experience in the asset owner space. Most recently, she was the Head of U.S. Asset Owner & Canadian Sales at State Street Bank & Trust Company. Prior to that, McCabe spent more than 25 years at Bank of New York Mellon, where she took on various leadership roles in sales, strategy, consulting relations and analytics.
Taskize has hired David Williams as chief financial officer. Williams brings over 15 years of experience in financial leadership positions at major investment banks. Most recently, he held an executive role at global asset manager Janus Henderson, having previously spent almost a decade in senior positions at Morgan Stanley and Barclays Investment Bank.

Mike Addeo has joined Evercore as a senior managing director in its Private Capital Advisory (PCA) group, based in New York. Addeo joins Evercore with 15 years of credit investing experience. Most recently, he was a managing director and head of restructuring at Blackstone Credit & Insurance.
The International Capital Market Association (ICMA), the global trade association for the cross-border bond markets, has subsequently elected Jean-Luc Lamarque, Chairman Primary Credit, Credit Agricole CIB, London as the ICMA chair. He replaces Janet Wilkinson who stepped down at the end of her term as an ICMA board member.
