Irfan Hussain will join the London Stock Exchange Group as Chief Information Officer (CIO), based in New York, commencing from January 2024. He joins the Executive Committee, reporting to David Schwimmer, LSEG CEO. Hussain will lead LSEG’s technology team driving cutting edge innovation in the global financial markets. He joins from Goldman Sachs where he is a Partner and Chief Operating & Strategy Officer for Engineering. He has held various roles at the firm including CIO for Consumer and Wealth Management, and roles in the Global Banking and Markets and Asset and Wealth Management divisions in New York, Tokyo and Hong Kong.
OCC, the world’s largest equity derivatives clearing organization, has appointed Meaghan Dugan, Head of Options at the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), to its Board of Directors. Dugan brings more than 20 years of experience in listed options trading and market making. In her current role with the NYSE, Dugan is responsible for oversight of the NYSE Amex Options and the NYSE Arca Options markets. She leads competitive strategy and development as well as managing the NYSE Options team’s business strategy, including commercial incentive programs and market structure initiatives.
Nigel Faulkner has joined the DTCC Board as a Non-Participant Director. Faulkner, an executive and technology practitioner with more than 30 years of global financial services experience, previously held roles as the Chief Information Officer at T. Rowe Price and the Investment Bank at Credit Suisse. He was also the Chief Technology Officer of the Equity Division at Goldman Sachs.
The Ontario Securities Commission (OSC) has appointed Craig Hayman as a Special Advisor on issues related to the regulation and oversight of registered firms and individuals. He will provide expert advice to the OSC on the development and implementation of critical investor protection initiatives to improve registrant-client interactions and enhance transparency for investors. Hayman has more than three decades of financial services and leadership experience, including 17 years as an investment advisor and senior leader with Edward Jones Investments Canada.
Stripe, a financial infrastructure platform for businesses, has hired Steffan Tomlinson as Chief Financial Officer. Steffan has more than 25 years of experience in the finance industry, most notably with Confluent, Google Cloud, and Palo Alto Networks.
