Northern Trust Asset Management hired Angelo Manioudakis as Chief Investment Officer. He will assume the position on September 27. Manioudakis brings extensive experience to the position, having served in senior roles at other global financial firms during his 32-year career in financial services, including most recently as managing partner with Lantern Harbor Investment Partners, a Boston-based global alternative investment firm that he co-founded. Manioudakis will be reporting to Northern Trust Asset Management President Shundrawn Thomas. Among Manioudakis’ responsibilities will be investment performance, process, and philosophy for all Northern Trust Asset Management products. He will chair the firm’s Investment Policy Committee, which sets investment policy for all Northern Trust groups in all asset classes.
The Goldman Sachs Group has named Denis P. Coleman III, currently co-Head of the Global Financing Group, as the firm’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective January 1, 2022. After a distinguished career at Goldman Sachs spanning three decades, including serving for the last three years as CFO, Stephen M. Scherr has decided to retire from the firm. He will remain CFO until the end of the year and will retire from the firm at the end of January. Upon his retirement, he will become a Senior Director. Coleman III will serve as Deputy Chief Financial Officer effective immediately to ensure a smooth transition.
Crédit Agricole CIB has appointed Romina Reversi as Head of Sustainable Banking for the Americas. With more than a decade of capital markets experience across debt, equity, and derivatives, Reversi joins Crédit Agricole CIB from J.P. Morgan, where she was responsible for structuring sustainable debt transactions for issuers globally and leading dialogue with ESG focused investors. She is an active member of and contributor to the Green and Social Bond Principles and its various working groups, including the New Markets Taskforce and the Sustainability-Linked Bonds Working Group. Based in New York, she will report globally to Tanguy Claquin, Global Head of Sustainable Banking, and regionally to Stéphane Publie, Head of Coverage & Investment Banking Americas.
Triad Securities has appointed Timothy Hoehler as Chief Compliance Officer. He succeeds Sis Demarco who has decided to retire from the firm after a prolific 38-year career on Wall Street. Hoehler brings over 25 years of securities industry experience to the role and will oversee regulatory compliance for Triad’s sales practice, broker dealer operations and trade execution business lines, as well as serving as liaison to all regulatory agencies. He joins Triad from Bank of America, where he was Chief Compliance Officer of Merrill Lynch Professional Clearing Corp.
The Bank of New York Mellon Corporation has hired Natalie Sunderland as Global Head of Marketing and Communications, effective September 20. She will report to Akash Shah, Chief Growth Officer at BNY Mellon. Sunderland joins BNY Mellon from Addepar, where she served as the company’s first Chief Marketing Officer.
OCC has added two new members to its Board of Directors: Mike Nowak, Chief Financial Officer at ABN AMRO Clearing Chicago, and Rob Hocking, Senior Vice President, Head of Multi-Asset Solutions and Derivatives Strategy for Cboe Global Markets. In his role Nowak oversees day-to-day management of liquidity, capital, balance sheet and regulatory reporting. Hocking leads the strategic vision for Cboe Global Markets’ derivatives ecosystem as Senior Vice President, Head of Multi-Asset Solutions and Derivatives Strategy.
Broadway Technology has appointed Dan Romanelli as Head of Relationships. In his role, Romanelli is responsible for driving business development initiatives and client relationship management, overseeing a global team of sales and relationship managers. Romanelli brings more than 25 years of international FinTech experience to his role at Broadway, including roles at exchanges, broker dealers, clearing firms and vendors. He joins Broadway from USAM Group, where he served as co-founder and Chief Strategy Officer.
Canoe Intelligence has appointed Vishal Saxena as Chief Technology Officer. Saxena brings over 20 years of academic and industry experience within financial services to his new role. He will leverage his experience in team building, process optimization, software development, project management and alternative and private investments domain knowledge to support Canoe’s growing client base and strengthen the company’s product and technology strategy. Prior to joining Canoe, he was a Managing Director in the Blackstone Technology and Innovations group.
