Societe Generale has appointed Christophe Tummers as Group Chief Data Officer, effective April 1. Reporting to Laura Mather, Group Chief Operating Officer, he will be responsible for the Global Data Office. Tummers is a seasoned data professional with close to 30 years of experience in the financial industry. He joins Societe Generale from UBS, where he was a Managing Director and most recently held the positions of Group Chief Data Officer (Group CDO) and then CDO for ESG.
HSBC has named Matthew Stanton as Managing Director, Head of Equities Sales Trading, Americas, based in New York. He joins HSBC from Primary Portal, where he most recently worked as a sales consultant. Prior to that Stanton spent more than seven years at Barclays, as head of cash sales trading for EMEA, and as head of cash sales trading for the Americas.
BTIG has promoted Troy Donohue to Head of Americas Portfolio Trading. In addition, Henri Taylor has joined the firm as a Director within Electronic Trading Sales. Taylor brings more than 20 years of electronic trading sales experience to the firm. He will be responsible for expanding our client base in ADR conversions and Electronic Trading with a special focus on selling our new proprietary algorithmic suite. Prior to BTIG, Taylor was a Global Head of Equity Electronic Sales at RBC Capital Markets.
BestEx Research Group has appointed Sandra Delmore as Managing Director of Client Success. Delmore joins BestEx Research with more than 20 years of experience in equities trading with a focus on strategic global relationship management. Before joining BestEx Research, she spent 15 years at Liquidnet and served as Global Head of Commission Management Services, responsible for its domestic and global expansion strategy across the firm’s domestic and international trading businesses. Prior to Liquidnet, she served as Vice President of Operations and Client Service at BNY ConvergEx.

Most recently, he established Viteos as a tech-centric, powerhouse of operational outsourcing and transformed Intertrust Group’s proposition by bringing its fund and corporate administration together for its clients, resulting in significant growth in profitable revenue, and realized enterprise value, at both firms.
Northern Trust has appointed Gary Paulin to the newly created role of head of international enterprise client solutions. Paulin will focus on strengthening relationships with Northern Trust clients across Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific, facilitating access to the bank’s asset servicing and asset management solutions. Paulin served most recently as Head of Global Strategic Solutions for Asset Servicing.
