Steven J. Goulart, Chief Investment Officer and President of MetLife Investment Management, will retire on August 31, 2023, in line with the firm’s age-65 retirement policy. MetLife Chief Financial Officer John McCallion will lead MetLife Investment Management, the institutional asset management business of MetLife. MetLife Chief Risk Officer Marlene Debel will lead MetLife Insurance Investments, responsible for MetLife’s general account. Ramy Tadros, Regional President of MetLife’s U.S. Business, will lead MetLife Holdings (MLH). These appointments will be effective September 1, 2023.
ING has appointed Görkem Köseoğlu as chief technology officer and member of the Management Board Banking. Görkem will take up his position on September 1, succeeding Ron van Kemenade, who stepped down effective April 30, 2023. Görkem is currently the chief operations officer of ING Netherlands, where he leads all the client services activities, the global transformation office, delivery tribes including data management, KYC services, collections, and fraud management. Görkem joined ING in 2012 as chief operations officer and chief information officer of ING Turkey where he led the transformation agenda, optimizing customer journeys, processes and legacy platforms.
Julian Salisbury will become a partner of Sixth Street, a global investment firm, and serve as Co-Chief Investment Officer. Salisbury is expected to start in early 2024. Salisbury brings to Sixth Street over 25 years of experience building and leading private and public markets investing businesses. He comes to the firm after a distinguished career at Goldman Sachs, where he most recently served as Chief Investment Officer of the Asset and Wealth Management Division.
