StoneX Digital, a division of StoneX Group, has hired Matthew Ardizzone as Managing Director, Digital Assets, based in New York. He will report to Brian Mulcahy, Chief Operating Officer, StoneX Digital. Ardizzone has over 20 years of senior management experience in global markets sales and trading, and FinTech solutions. He joins StoneX from Atomyze, where he served as Chief Commercial Officer. Prior to joining Atomyze, he founded Marlu Capital Partners, an advisory and consulting firm specializing in digital assets and blockchain technology for the capital markets sector.
Serena Chan has joined Capco as a new partner in its Canadian business. She brings more than 25 years of experience in the areas of banking, insurance, and the delivery of complex technology programs. Chan joins Capco after a short tenure at TD. That role was preceded by 16 years with IBM Consulting, where she was an Account Partner and Delivery Executive for a number of key TD transformation programs. During her time with IBM Consulting, Chan led a wide range of innovation-led technology transformation initiatives for prestige Canadian and international institutions across the insurance, payments, retail and commercial banking sectors.
Equipped.ai, a technology-based analytics solutions provider for alternative asset management firms, has named Edward Green as Chief Executive Officer. Green joins Equipped with 19 years of experience within Private Equity, Private Credit and Real Estate and most recently as Partner and Head of Asset Management at AnaCap Financial Partners. Equipped was spun out of AnaCap in 2021 to form a standalone data analytics and technology platform.
Transcend has appointed senior advisory board members to support its accelerating global expansion. The Securities and Exchange Commission has announced that Silvestre A. Fontes has been named Regional Director of the Boston office. Fontes worked in the Boston Regional Office’s enforcement program for 13 years, ascending to the role of Assistant Regional Director before leaving the agency in 2011. Fontes served as the first supervisor of the Market Abuse Unit within the Boston office. Fontes has been Chief Compliance Officer of Bracebridge Capital, a Boston-based adviser of private funds, for the past four years. John Dugan and Kevin Kelcourse, who have served as Acting Co-Regional Directors, will remain as Associate Regional Directors of the office’s Enforcement and Examinations programs, respectively.
