Ron Papka has joined Voya Investment Management as Head of Data Engineering and Governance. He is an experienced hands-on financial services technologist with a track record for building innovative data and analytical software applications. Papka has spent over 30 years in the Financial Services industry creating applications of analytics across capital markets asset classes. He joins Voya from Bank of America, where he was Head of Modeling, NLP, and Analytics for Global Banking Technology.
Ian Merrill, Kevin Murphy and Todd Dilatush have joined SCG Asset Management as President, Head of Trading, Product and Risk Management, and Head of Distribution, respectively. Prior to joining SCG, Merrill spent over 18 years at Barclays, where he held various global leadership roles in derivatives and structured investments. Murphy has 30 years of experience in the financial markets at several global investment banks. He was a derivatives trader in New York and London across the fixed income, foreign exchange and equity markets. Dilatush was previously the Director of National Sales for Luma Financial Technologies, an independent multi-issuer structured products and annuities platform.
OneMarketData has appointed Shailesh Dwivedi as Head of Buy-side Regulatory Solutions. A proven financial technology leader with extensive experience working in product management across top-tier banks, asset management firms and consultancies, Dwivedi will oversee and expand OneTick’s buy-side offerings to ensure OneTick clients meet and exceed requirements across the global regulatory landscape. He previously served as Vice President at Credit Suisse, where he managed and advanced the firm’s cross-asset tick data platform.
Hantec Markets has appointed Lee Holmes as the Company’s new Head of Institutional Sales in advance of the launch of Hantec Prime, the Institutional arm of Hantec Markets. Lee brings more than 12 years’ experience across the foreign exchange and derivatives markets landscape. Prior to joining Hantec Markets, he served as a member of the Executive Management of Infinox Global. He has also held various director positions at other brokerage firms, including Zenfinex Limited and ForexVox.
GoldenSource, an independent provider of Enterprise Data Management (EDM) and Master Data Management (MDM) solutions, has hired Derek Apfel to Chief Financial Officer, based in New York. Apfel brings a wealth of strategic finance, operations, investment and M&A leadership experience from a range of prior roles including at Citi, Bank of America, and most recently as CFO of Tilting Point where he oversaw rapid organic growth and several acquisitions.
Gresham Technologies has appointed Dan Kennedy as Senior Vice President of Sales, North America. Bringing more than 25 years of experience in enterprise technology solutions, he joins Gresham following seven years at Corvil (now part of Pico) as Managing Director and Head of Sales, Americas focused on real-time data analytics, cloud, cybersecurity and managed service solutions for financial markets. Most recently, Kennedy was Chief Revenue Officer at the AI and machine learning firm, Devron.
