Every year, Cantor Fitzgerald and its affiliate BGC Partners holds its Charity Day event to commemorate the events of September 11 and to raise and donate money to charities around the globe. This year, Canter and BGC raised an estimated $12 million for the Cantor Fitzgerald Relief Fund and dozens of charities around the globe. All of the firm's revenue earned on September 11 goes to the fund.
