Once those first automated connections in were in place, there were suddenly a lot more possibilities of new tools and functions that could make the process easier, better, more seamless. Advent Software's Moxy was first introduced in 1994 and is in its 14th generation. The trading and compliance solution is a turnkey platform for private client, institutional and fund managers. Key features include powerful asset allocation/order creation tools with built in compliance, unmatched pre- and post-trade connectivity; and real time views on positions, trading, orders and cash information. Bloomberg LP has three OMSs. Bloomberg Asset and Investment Management (AIM) was first introduced in 1998. Bloomberg AIM provides buy side institutions and hedge funds with global, multi-asset solutions for front end portfolio, trading, and middle and back office operations. In addition, risk management tools like deterministic, historical and predictive scenario analysis and historical value-at-risk are incorporated into the system as well, with Monte Carlo VaR, suggested hedges and traders grids coming soon. Broadridge Portfolio Master also features assorted data visualization tools. Charles River Developments Investment Management System was first introduced in 1997 and is now on version 9. The Charles River IMS provides a single, highly performant multi-asset OEMS platform combining full order management and execution management capabilities. It is a managed and hosted solution that can be deployed as part of a complete front and middle office platform. Best practice trading workflows can be easily configured to increase trader productivity. Eze Softwares Eze OMS, first introduced in 1995, is a global multi-strategy order management system that streamlines the investment cycle for all asset classes from idea generation through settlement. It offers advanced functionality to support portfolio analytics, modeling, trading, compliance, risk and operations. Traders can take advantage of flexible and fully configurable real-time trade blotters, configurable allocation schemes to automatically allocate block orders, and customizable quick send buttons for single-click execution to one or more brokers. It is a fully integrated trading platform for sales traders, traders, operations and market makers for front to middle office activity. Longview from Linedata was first introduced in 1998. This OMS supports all asset types from simple equities to fixed income as well as complex derivatives such as total return swaps, credit default swaps and interest rate swaps.
