ON THE MOVE: AllianceBernstein Announces Andrew Chin; Kait Jack to J.P Morgan AM

Andrew Chin

AllianceBernstein has named Andrew Chin as the firm’s first-ever Chief Artificial Intelligence Officer. As an AB operating committee member with a 27-year career at the firm, Chin was previously AB’s Head of Investment Solutions and Sciences. Throughout his career, he has served in previous roles for the firm, including Head of Quantitative Research and Chief Data Scientist and was the firm’s Chief Risk Officer for over a decade.

Kait Jack

Kait Jack has joined J.P Morgan Asset Management as Vice President, External Client Advisor for the firm in Canada. Jack joins from PIMCO where she brings extensive experience working with both institutional investors and advisors. Most recently she held roles covering sub-advised clients, dealer head office relationships, and institutional business development. She has experience servicing a variety of institutional investors across both public and private asset classes. Previously, she was at Sun Life Global Investments where she held several roles across the wealth distribution arm

Cindy Jia

Cindy Jia has been appointed head of Sustainable Finance for ING Americas. Based in New York, Jia reports hierarchically to Matt Rosetti, head of Sectors Americas and functionally to Jacomijn Vels, ING’s global head of Sustainable Finance. Prior to rejoining ING in 2022, she spent seven years managing sister energy technology start-ups developing advanced heat exchangers and reactors which are critical components for a variety of energy transition applications. in addition, Ana Carolina Oliveira, who previously held the Americas head of Sustainable Finance role, will now head Technology, Media, Telecom and Healthcare in the Americas.

Richard Marquis has joined Pirum’s New York office, as Director Sales, North America. Marquis brings over 30 years’ experience of leading securities finance trading teams and developing innovative technology solutions across Agency Lending, Prime Brokerage and Principal Borrowing/Lending. Marquis joins Pirum from MUFG Securities, where he was running the Securities Finance Regulatory Project for 10c-1a compliance. Prior to that Marquis headed Borrow DIRECT at BNY, a cutting-edge principal and P2P programme, having also headed the firm’s Cross Product Trading Strategy department for Securities Finance, as well as the Americas Equity Trading team.

Nasdaq Private Market (NPM) has appointed Louis Citron as an independent board member to its Board of Managers, effective immediately. Most recently, Citron served as the Chief Administrative Officer and Chief Legal Officer of NEA, where he was responsible for managing legal issues as they pertained to investments, partnerships, operations, and regulatory compliance in the U.S. and abroad.

AccessFintech has appointed Naveen TV as Head of Product. He will be responsible for driving product innovation by expanding the feedback loop with the capital markets ecosystem leading go-to-market strategy and campaign management. He holds over 20 years of expertise in financial services and most recently spent 12 years at J.P. Morgan as the Global Head of Data Strategy and AI.

Deutsche Bank’s Supervisory Board has appointed Laura Padovani as Chief Compliance and AFC Officer. She will be responsible for Compliance and Anti-Financial Crime and will also become a member of the Management Board.
