Christopher Brown has joined Instinet/Nomura as Executive Director to continue the expansion of its LSET Low Latency Execution capabilities, reporting to Richard Parsons. He was previously with JPMorgan where he led the QIS EQ’s Electronic Execution team for Quant Clients in Europe for the last 3+ years. Prior to that, Brown spent almost three years at Citi as Director of systemic and quant trading solutions.
T. Rowe Price Group has elected Bill Donnelly as an independent director of the company. Donnelly was the executive vice president responsible for finance, investor relations, supply chain and information technology for Mettler-Toledo International when he retired in 2018 after more than 20 years. Donnelly previously served as chief financial officer of Elsag Bailey Process Automation, NV and prior to that was an auditor with PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Acadian Asset Management has added four senior staff to the investment team. Owen Lamont has joined the Global Equity Research team as SVP and Portfolio Manager. Most recently he served as a Managing Director at Wellington Management. Javier Alcazar has also joined the Global Equity Research team in the role of SVP and Portfolio Manager and will be based in Acadian’s London office. He comes to Acadian from Atlas Ridge, an ML-based hedge fund. Lukasz Pomorski was appointed SVP and Portfolio Manager. Most recently, he served as Managing Director and Head of ESG Research at AQR. Chris Covington also joins as SVP and Portfolio Manager, with 16+ years of investment experience, most recently as Founding Partner and Head of Investments at independent investment advisor AJO Vista.
