Proceeds from the event will support additional educational and networking activities for STAC members as well as scholarships provided by the STAC Fund
CHICAGO, IL August 1, 2023: The Security Traders Association of Chicago (STAC), a membership organization for individual professionals in the securities industry in Chicago and an affiliate of The Security Traders Association (STA), will host its STAC Classic Annual Golf Outing on Monday, August 21, 2023, at Ridgemoor Country Club in Harwood Heights, IL. The event will draw more than 120+ golfers from across the country and help support STAC’s continuing mission of education, professional networking and philanthropy.

Proceeds from the STAC Classic will help fund STAC events and conferences held throughout the year that promote professional development, serve as a platform for influential leaders in the industry and provide a forum for networking. STAC members receive registration fee discounts for conferences, events and continuing education courses. Proceeds will also support the STAC Fund, a 501c3 organization founded by STAC in 1991 to award college scholarships to deserving students and make grants to charitable and educational institutions. The STAC Fund has made approximately $500,000 in charitable donations and scholarship awards over the past 10 years due to the generosity of STAC members, sponsors and friends.
The STAC Classic will begin with a shotgun start at 12:00 PM and feature a Dinner and Awards Showcase at 5:00 PM. For the first time, spectators can register to watch the 18th hole playoff and enjoy open bar, food and networking with the STAC community. 2023 sponsorship slots are still available, and limited non-sponsor golfer registration is open from August 1 – August 14, 2023.
